TechLock® system

Fontaine’s patented jaw secure TechLock® system has a secure jaw that gives a unique advantage over other types of locking mechanisms on the market. It has a height sensor that will not allow the fifth wheel to close when the kingpin enters at the wrong height or position. Meanwhile, a profiled forging protects the mechanism from damage. NO CONTACT– NO COUPLE i.e. no dropped trailer

The system has been specifically designed to reduce mis-coupling and thereby limit damage and significantly improve safety.
